These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
This site is owned and operated by C J Allen Trading As Trickstrings ('C J Allen','Razorbase' or 'we' or 'us' or 'our'). These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website.

Product Liability & use
Important: Always wear a helmet & pads when using any equipment purchased from Razorbase.
Electric Scooters - Must be used on Private property. Use of these products on Public Highways is illegal & could lead to prosecution. By purchasing these products you confirm you understand this advice.
Never use any equipment on or near roads & follow all safety guidelines printed in your User Manual.
The items Razorbase sell are fun, but can be dangerous - you are using them at your own risk so please be careful - please read all safety instructions before use.
Razorbase & its owners will not be held responsible for any injury or damage direct or indirect caused as a result of the use of any equipment purchased from Razorbase. Goods purchased from Razorbase are used entirely at your own risk.
The Contract Between Us
Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with C J Allen T/A Trickstrings. C J Allen T/A Trickstrings must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.
Once payment has been received Razorbase will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. C J Allen T/A Trickstrings acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
C J Allen T/A Trickstrings is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.
General Terms
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non–exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, online bidding, pre–release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture.
These terms and conditions only cover the Razorbase website. Any other websites which are linked to from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites, which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

C J Allen T/A Trickstrings own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Razorbase website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.
We make no warranty that the Razorbase website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error–free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website.
We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Razorbase website.
Payment Details
Razorbase accepts payment from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro and Delta via Paypal. All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling. Your payment card company will perform any currency conversion.
Upon receiving your order C J Allen T/A Trickstrings will debit funds from your chosen payment method, this is also is the case for pre-orders unless we are expressly asked not to hold funds, this may mean your pre-order cannot be fulfilled. This method ensures your items are dispatched with minimal delay & secures stock that has not been received by ourselves (pre-orders).
Availability of Goods You Order
If Razorbase has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by Razorbase from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Razorbase will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Razorbase will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Please note: we endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at promotional price can take a few hours to update.
Suitability of Goods
By purchasing goods from Razorbase you are agreeing that you have fully read the product description, which we will endeavour to make as accurate as possible within reason , and that the goods are suitable for your purpose. If you are unsure of suitability then please contact us before purchase and we will be happy to discuss your needs and advise you on suitability.
Returns Policy
If you need to return your item for an exchange you must do so within 14 days of delivery. All items returned must be in an unused condition. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FULL NAME AND DELIVERY ADDRESS INCLUDING TELEPHONE NUMBER AND DETAILS OF THE EXCHANGE. All original tags and all original packing must be kept. If you are returning an item for an exchange within the initial 7 days of delivery, upon return & inspection we will issue your new order. If your new order requires further payment or incurrs a higher delivery charge to your original costs we will ask for this at this time. If you would like to return an item after the first 7 days we may be able to arrange this but you will be asked to pay a re-delivery charge of £6.00. We do not usually accept returns for a refund. If this is authorised it would be a refund less the original delivery cost and a 20% re-stocking fee.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Damaged or faulty goods
All products Razorbase sell have a manufacturers warranty please contact us regarding damages or faults before returning your product. In the majority of cases your item needs to be returned to the UK distributor as stated in your product manual NOT to us.
We reserve the right to use Razor UK or other third parties to test all faulty items upon return, so you, the consumer, receive an independent unbiased decision of if the item is faulty. We ourselves have warranty on all our products from our suppliers so have no reason to be biased with warranty issues. We can provide written details of our, or other parties findings on faulty products.
If an item is returned as faulty but we find that the item is in fact not faulty and that the problem is down to incorrect fitting, incorrect suitability, user error etc.. then charges would be incurred for return of the goods to you, covering full postal costs & any fee a third party charges for inspection, a refund would be granted if requested less the original delivery cost and a 20% re-stocking fee.

Kick Scooters
Razor warranties our kick scooters to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of six (6) months from the original date of purchase. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, wheels, hand grips nor any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the product.
This Limited Warranty will be void if the product is ever:
• used in a manner other than for recreation;
• modified in any way;
• rented.
The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly or indirectly to the use of this product.
Electric Products
Razor warranties our electric products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of six (6) months from the original date of purchase. Trick riding affecting warranty for non trick scooters.
The warranty is meant to cover the product for normal wear and tear. If you decide to use your product in a way that puts extraordinary stresses on the product, you will lose any warranty rights if the product fails due to misuse. We strive to design and manufacture our products to conform to applicable standards, but everyone must recognize that no product could ever withstand every conceivable strain or abuse.
Batteries
As batteries are a consumable product and are subject to correct use, fitting & charging by the purchaser we can offer no warranty except a 'Dead On Arrival' policy.
Warranty Start
Your warranty begins automatically when you purchase your Razor product. There is no need to register for warranty coverage. Warranty requests will only be honored with proof of purchase. Please retain your original store receipt and keep it in a safe place. NOTE: All warranty periods are measured in calendar days and begin immediately at date of purchase. Warranty coverage will not be extended, even if the product was purchased in advance for a gift or in storage during the winter months.
Damaged in Transit
If goods are damaged upon arrival please adhere to the following guidelines or your right to reclaim damage or loss may be affected:
If the outer packaging is noticeably damaged please either refuse the delivery & return it to the courier driver, ask the driver to wait while goods are checked & either accept or return the consignment, or accept the item but sign for the goods as 'damaged' or 'unchecked'.
Please contact us on the same day as receipt & send photographic proof of the outer packaging & goods.
Changes to This Agreement
C J Allen T/A Trickstrings reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unforeseen, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
